This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. In practice that means semantic headings in order, a skip link, visible focus, text contrast checked against its background, images with descriptive alternative text, tables with real header cells, and no content that depends on colour alone.

The site uses system fonts and works without JavaScript. The only script is the one that shrinks the header on scroll, and it honours a reduced-motion preference by not animating.

What we test

Before any change goes live, pages are checked with a keyboard alone to confirm every link and control can be reached and that focus is always visible. Headings are read in order to confirm they describe the structure rather than the styling. Text and background colours are measured against the WCAG contrast ratios rather than eyeballed. Pages are checked at 400 percent zoom and at a 375 pixel width, where content should reflow into a single column without horizontal scrolling.

Known limits

Tables of housing data scroll horizontally on narrow screens rather than reflowing, because breaking a data table into cards can make the relationships between figures harder to follow. Each table is reachable by keyboard and announced with real header cells. If that choice makes a page harder for you to use, tell us and we will revisit it.

Reporting a barrier

Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser you were using. That is usually enough to reproduce a problem. We will confirm what we found, fix what we can, and tell you plainly if something will take longer.

If something here is difficult or impossible to use with a screen reader, keyboard or magnifier, tell us through frontdoordigital.ai and we will fix it and say when it was fixed.
