About this site
If something here is wrong, out of date or misleading, we want to know, and corrections are made with the date changed. Until direct contact channels are live on this site, reach Front Door Digital LLC through frontdoordigital.ai.
About a company we introduced
Tell us. We record the complaint against that company, ask for their account, and stop making introductions to any company that leaves a pattern of them unresolved. We cannot adjudicate a dispute between you and a contractor, and we will not pretend otherwise.
How we handle one
A complaint is logged with the date it arrived, what it concerns and who it names. Factual corrections to this site are made and the page shows an updated date. Complaints about a company are put to that company for their account, and both sides are kept on file. We do not remove a complaint because a company asks us to.
What we cannot do
We cannot inspect your property, arbitrate a contract dispute, compel a refund or determine whether work was performed competently. Those questions belong with the parties to the contract, with consumer protection authorities, or with a court. Pretending otherwise would waste your time at the moment you can least afford it.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge a complaint within two business days and to say what we are doing about it within ten. If a company has not responded to us by then, we say so rather than leaving you waiting.
Where else to take it
- The Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection, which administers home improvement contractor registration.
- Your local municipal code enforcement office for permit or code questions.
- Your insurer, if the work was part of a claim.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection states that it has no authority over indoor air quality and cannot address mold in homes or apartments, so a complaint about mold itself will not be actionable there.
